In a recent article by Steve Bertoni, Forbes has released their 50 Top Creators of 2024. The influencer industry has made $250 billion this year and Goldman Sachs predicts it will double to $500 billion by 2027. This year's list has earned almost $720 million over the past 12 months which has increased from last year's earnings of $700 million in 2023.

This years list by Forbes has the usual top earners of content creators, at #1, Mr Beast, who earned $85 million, 503 million followers and an engagement rate of 2.38%.
Olajide Olatunji, KSI, an OG Youtuber and personality placed at #2 in 2023, has been bumped off the list but high climber Dixie D’Amelio has risen from #18 to #6 and Alex Cooper, CEO of ‘Call Her Daddy’ podcast has quickly gained momentum this year, jumping from #12 to #8.
To rank the world’s Top Creators of 2024, Forbes has analysed data on the estimated gross earning, follower counts, engagement rates and entrepreneurial activities of internet personalities with the help of the creator marketing company, Influential.
